OVERVIEW

The Society for Medicines Research has decided to dedicate its 2023 award for innovation and impact in medicines to "The Covid-19 Vaccines – in recognition of all those involved in their development, approval and delivery". We are delighted that both Clive Dix and Ian McCubbin as representatives of the UK Covid-19 Vaccines Task force will be at the meeting to receive the award on behalf of the wider community, and to speak about their reflections on the Task Force’s activities, and implications for the future.

The meeting will also feature presentations highlighting recent clinical candidates in a range of therapeutic areas including cancer, schizophrenia, and immune disease, with a variety of targeting modalities.
